This is an exciting, brand new opportunity based at our Medirest site at UCLH, we are looking for a Support Services Manager to join our team. 

We are seeking a seasoned Manager with experience in the Soft Services industry to join our Medirest team, the selected individual will be responsible for ensuring that the team are focussed and attending their duties as delegated but the Support Services Manager. The individual will also be responsible for ensuring that any escalations are dealt with in swift and timely manner along with building relationships with all members of staff across the hospital so that their presence is known.

he successful candidate will be responsible for the following; 

  • Troubleshooting any onsite problems 
  • Dealing with client requests as they come through 
  • Delegating duties to direct reports 
  • Ensuring that the services is operating onsite efficiently and effectively 
  • Overseeing the day to day management of the soft service operation 
  • Making sure that all HR duties are completed 
  • Building effective relatioships with key stakeholders 

The ideal candidate will have the following experiece: 

  • Proven experience in the soft services sector; cleaning/portering/security/helpdesk/laundery 
  • Experience managing teams 
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders 
  • Prioritising workloads with adhoc requests 
  • Future planning for upcoming events
