Gloucestershire County Council Adult Social Care is looking for the right candidate to fulfil a 12 month fixed term opportunity, working with the integrated care system to review discharge to assess pathways.

 

 

The strategic work will look to ensure that the systems and structures are designed with the right capacity, in the right place, in order to deliver the best outcomes for the people of Gloucestershire. This ever-evolving area will require someone who is flexible to changing work priorities.

 

The post is based at Shire Hall in Gloucester; however, we offer flexible working with a mix of office and remote working.

 

 

About the role:

 

This role plays a key role in the Adult’s Social Care Leadership Team and will lead strategic developments and programme activities designed to secure good outcomes for the people of Gloucestershire. The postholder will have strategic responsibility for the development of discharge to assess pathways, working within local and national objectives.

 

About you:

 

You will have proven experience in the leadership, management, and development of teams, along with a desire to progress these skills further. You will also have experience delivering strategic programmes that contain a significant element of business change and digital transformation.

 

You will have substantial experience working within adult social care, and with partner agencies, stakeholders, and other professionals. You will have knowledge of a range of programme/project methodologies, with the ability to select the delivery methodology based on the characteristics of the change. Ideally you will have in-depth knowledge and understanding of the legal and policy framework in relation to adult social care.
