JNC Qualified Senior Youth Worker Post
Warwickshire Targeted Youth Support are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic youth worker and manager for this post within Warwickshire County Council Children’s Services.

Targeted Youth Support are a team of JNC qualified youth workers sitting within Children’s Services. Each youth worker is involved in delivering 121 youth work, group work and detached youth work. We run from 6 youth work bases around the county. These bases include 3 vibrant and busy youth clubs.

Targeted Youth Support are a valued part of a restorative Children’s Service and have been invested and supported to grow over the last two years. We are an evidence-based service that can prove the positive impact we make with young people. Young people are at the heart of all we do.

We have one Senior Youth Worker posts available, and this will be based in the South of the county. The role will have a 70/30 split of line management and face to face youth work. You will work two evenings a week and be flexible in your working hours.
This is a really exciting opportunity for someone who has lots of youth work experience and has the ability and skills to support and manage a staff team of full time youth workers. You will be youth worker who is creative in their youth work practice and confident to manage the challenges of youth work delivery.

We are looking for a JNC degree qualified youth worker who absolutely love youth work. We would expect you to have some experience of staff management and have the skills to support and motivate a team of youth workers. This is an amazing opportunity for the right senior youth worker.
