Are you passionate about wanting the best outcomes for young people and their children?
Are you motivated, resilient and confident to lone work?
We are recruiting for a Night Support Worker for our service in Mansfield & Ashfield. This service supports young parents in accommodation settings across the district. You will be as passionate as we are about working with young people, giving them opportunities, and providing them and their families with support, placing the young people at the centre of decision-making.
This role also involves the coordination of emergency housing outside regular hours. You will assess the needs of individuals, coordinating emergency accommodation, supporting out-of-hours calls, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
No two days will be the same, and you’ll be expected to build strong relationships with the young people in their homes, helping and encouraging them to achieve their goals and aspirations. Success in the role would see you supporting young people during the evenings and night-time, ensuring they are safe, as well as encouraging them to be the best parent they can be. You’ll be kind, self-motivated, good at problem-solving and have a professional, caring, and calm approach.
