Salary: £21,189 – £22,369 pro rata per annum based on hours and weeks worked

Shift hours: 35

Grange Farm are looking to appoint a committed and motivated Teaching Assistant – with KS1 and/or KS2 experience – to add to our team of enthusiastic and committed teaching staff we have at our friendly and successful school. The successful candidate will work as part of a phase team to work across year groups and support the raising attainment of children under the supervision of Class Teachers.

Strong relationships between staff and children ensures that children are happy attending Grange Farm. This is evident in the exemplary behaviour that children show. Visitors often comment about the family feel and friendly vibe around school.

We are committed to providing professional development opportunities for all of our staff and would welcome applications with KS1 and/or KS2 experience.

The main purpose of the role will be to:

• Promote high quality learning for all children in KS1 or KS2.

• Provide care and supervision of children.

• Foster and support children to fully participate in the life of the school.

• Help children to become independent learners.

• Raise attainment.

• Support children who may have a special educational need.

We are looking for somebody who:

• Is a caring professional who supports children’s well-being.

• Can use their initiative and looks for solutions.

• Is collaborative and cooperative with colleagues.

• Demonstrates a positive attitude and school values with all stakeholders.

• Understands planned learning outcomes and can support children to achieve these.

Work pattern: 35 hours per week – term time only
