To proactively drive all customer catering requirements, ensuring efficient service and delivery at all times, whilst balancing financial performance and customer satisfaction to ensure the highest standards of accurate and timely customer, staff and management information. To ensure that all sales administration is accomplished effectively & accurately in order to provide a seamless operation.

To lead, manage and motivate the Sales & Events team.

Main duties:

 

Ensure SLA for Exhibition sales are carried out to drive sales and revenue in conjunction with Commercial Sales Manager/Director

Support the Head of Commercial Sales and team in the effective liaison with the client to ensure the continual development of the partnership. Attend monthly meeting in absence of HOCS where required

Share best practice across units and strive in the achievement of total customer satisfaction.

To ensure the full and clear communication of all clients requirements and expectations to operations team, in accordance with ISO9002 standards.

To monitor and co-ordinate the operation against agreed service levels in partnership with the operations team.

Demonstrates the ability to perform all tasks consistently to adhere to the specific standard.

Ensure that the necessary audits are carried out as per company standards.

Lead by example and ensure members of the team wear the correct, full and clean uniform whilst on duty.  Actively addressing all issues in relation to non-adherence to company standards.

Responsible for communicating, motivating and involving individuals within the team . This includes direction and being a great leader to achieve required results

Respond to the pace of the business in terms of speed of work and productivity.

Maintain excellent product knowledge at all times and ensure this is extended to team members

Identify training needs and carry out on the job training. Ensure that full Induction programme is completed for all new members of the team and have a full training plan in place for each member with internal and external influences and courses applicable

Hold weekly  meetings with team  to discuss all key areas and actions required – from specific agenda

Carry out

To sign off on a weekly basis the HSE/call log from office administrator & communicate any re occurrence of comments and are elevated to the appropriate management

Demonstrate a commitment to the unit / location and work.

 

Positively contribute to the sales activities required to drive revenue and set in SLA to achieve targets. Ensuring all team members have clear objectives and KPI’s

Maximise all sales opportunities through up selling techniques following the SLA’s in place for both C&E and Exhibitions and that these are carried out throughout the teams at all stages

Knowledgeable of all company brands and products and be able to advise the customer in a professional, helpful manner in order to maximise usage and company brand awareness.

Regularly conduct competitor analysis and be aware of industry trends

Achieve target score for customer satisfaction surveys

Ensuring all feedback forms are sent to client max 3 days following the event and team are targeted on getting these back

Raise any issues to HOCS from any clients prior to the client leaving the venue

Introduction of key clients to HOCS and director of catering

Ensure all team members are actively up selling and achieving individual targets
