Role Overview:
 
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Food Service Administrator to join our team in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our micromarket daily activities while providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. You will work 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday – 10am – 3.00pm with flexibility to ensure our customers receive top-notch service throughout their visit.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service to all customers and clients, demonstrating a can-do attitude towards individual customer requests and strive to exceed customer expectations.
  • Offer administrative support to the Office Services Manager.
  • Manage stock levels and ensure proper stock rotation within the micromarket.
  • Oversee front and back of house services, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
  • Place orders for necessary supplies and products, ensuring adequate inventory levels.
  • Assist when required with the loading or unloading of deliveries to unit.
  • Check all items against delivery notes, or an invoice and report to Line Manager any stock, or goods discrepancy.
  • Ensure planograms for retail stock are adhered to and fully compliant with company brand standards.
  • Conduct and monitor all stocktaking procedures ensuring minimal risk of waste.
  • Supporting the management and upkeeping of storeroom areas.
  • Supporting with IT systems on site, processing of invoices/delivery notes, communicating with suppliers for raising credits etc.
  • Running reports from the till system as required. Compiling all financial paperwork in preparation for month end as required
  • Provide cover as a Food Service Assistant during busy service periods.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in food and beverage areas, including the kitchen, dining room, and coffee shop.
  • Assist with food preparation, service, handling, and storage as directed by your Line Manager.
  • Ensure all displays, counters and seating areas comply with company and statutory health and hygiene requirements, including but not limited to Food Information Regulations and Reference Intake labelling.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Flexibility to work in other units within a reasonable distance when required.

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Basic Food Hygiene/level 2 certification is desirable but not essential.
