Job Title: Customer Service Planner

Customer Service Planner 

Circa  £21,833  with a formal pay progression structure

12 month Fixed Term Contract – Full time 37 hours

Shifts between Monday and Sunday, including bank holidays, 6:30am to 9pm

Based in Lincoln with the potential for some work from home after passing probation

Our Lincoln office offers free parking and good public transport links

We’ve advertised the role as Customer Service Planner (it’s really called In-Day Scheduler), because we want to attract people that want to provide a great service to both internal and external customers.  

“But I don’t have any experience in scheduling!”  

Well, not many candidates do! We have many current team members who joined us without experience in scheduling. We can teach you the scheduling skills, but you must bring the positivity and desire to learn. We provide a full 4-week training and mentoring package, to give you the right tools to deliver truly exceptional customer service, whilst supporting you as you learn and progress in the role. 

What does the role involve?

You would assist in the delivery of a business-critical service to ensure that both planned and reactive work is scheduled to meet business performance targets (Service, Serviceability, Quality and Risk) and systems are updated with work activities.

  • Take ownership of todays and tomorrows work schedules, to ensure that all work is completed within the agreed timescale

  • Prioritise and deploy reactive work according to priority matrix to field resources via telephone, complying with health and safety guidelines. Ensuring resource has the availability to complete the work and remove any work that cannot be completed as a result

  • Escalating to relevant teams where high priority work cannot be deployed

  • Contacting both internal and external customers, to keep them informed and realign expectation
