Job Purpose and Summary

As a Sales Manager, you will manage & lead the Operational & Strategic aspects of Government Sales for CKSA. Retain & Grow Existing Customers portfolio, acquire new business revenue & market share in KSA, as well as handle accounts in the Govt sector that have been identified and agreed on with Country Manager.

You are responsible of providing Leadership for the Government sales team, managing their day-to-day activities & developing next generation talent pool.

By regularly managing all sales initiatives, you will be responsible to assure the company is meeting customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping the company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing the sales team potential.

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team in KSA.
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that assures the retention and growth of the company’s existing customer base through cross selling and upselling to maximize the share of wallet.
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of Gov. Sales employees.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team
  • Present sales, revenue and team performance reports along with clear action plans on regular basis.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Responsible for sales forecasting and delivering committed forecasts to Country Manager.
  • Establish, measure & monitor Sales, KPIs reporting regularly
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory laws and company policy through the sales team
  • Maintain active pipeline report through Salesforce, logging all activities
  • Responsible for the care, retention & revenue growth of the existing CE Govt clients
  • Communicate with clients/customers to understand their needs & explain product value
  • Uses product knowledge to build trust, value & influence with the customer(s)
  • Quotes prices & rates as needed to close the deal

People:

 

  • Management of team
  • Interview and hiring of new competent employees
  • Providing smooth induction along with HR
  • Identifying trainings to upskills staff along with HR
  • Regularly evaluate employees to determine how well they are fulfilling their job and whether they are meeting company standards for professionalism, attendance, and work performance.
  • Supervise all staff members to determine how well they function in their jobs on a day-to-day basis.
  • Maintains the staff job results by counselling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Provide coaching where necessary
  • Responsible for agreeing KPIs, objectives, budget for the team

What we ask

Must have/be:

  • Degree level education, preferably in Commerce or Economics
  • Experience of heading a Sales within a multi-national for at least 10 years
  • Relevant experience in sales related B2B industry
  • Knowledge of local region
  • Previous proven experience of developing departmental & organizational strategies in line with the overall company objectives
  • Professional appearance, attitude & communication style both internal and external
  • Strong communication & presentation skills
  • Familiarity with MS Office, Email & Internet
  • Able to work on own initiative & in a team environment
  • Ability to think of issues from all perspectives & act according to the best option
  • Willingness to make unpopular decisions when required
  • A very high level of accuracy when dealing with figures
  • Ability to meet deadlines & flexibility to deal with changing requirements
  • Strategic & innovative thinking to influence & change ways of working to improve or grow business performance & maximize our margins, creating value and add solutions
  • Knowledge of KSA Government market is required.
