The Wild Place Project – a fantastic venue that RA Venues are proud to be a catering partner for. RA Venues provide catering as well as providing an ever expanding and diverse Conference and Events business.

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Catering Operations Manager to oversee the full range of retail units including a café, pizzeria, event spaces and a unique Glamping area for overnight stays!

 

Business is very seasonal, so you will be expected to work with the forecasts and plan your teams effectively to maximise sales and delivery a great customer experience. This is an exciting period for RA Venues and a unique opportunity to be involved in the development of our ever expanding business. This is an outdoor environment where no day is the same.

 

  • Managing the day to day onsite Catering Operations at Wild Place
  • Work closely with the client teams to achieve mutual goals in order to experience deliver the excellent customer service
  • Implement procedures to drive standards and consistency in line with company values
  • Driving the service and support to exceed our client’s and our customers’ expectations
  • Coaching, developing and leading a team of 15-20 to provide exceptional service to the clients and customers
  • Driving service excellence thereby exceeding customer expectations/requirements and enhancing the customer journey
  • Supporting the Deputy General Manager to deliver the commercial growth for the business through leading and supporting your team in delivery of their financial target
  • Demonstrate an in depth knowledge of Food & beverage, operating with focus on innovation, standards and market awareness
  • Be the guardian of Health, Safety and environment inline with company polices and procedures
  • Management experience within a similar Leisure / Retail and C&E background
  • The ability to build and lead an effective team
  • Standards and quality driven management style

  • Sound knowledge of Hygiene, Health and Safety
  • Have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
  • Be self-motivated and show the ability to work in a pressurised commercial, customer facing environment
