An opportunity has arisen at Gloucestershire County Council for a Business Apprentice to support its Economy and Strategic Planning Team. The team supports the delivery of sustainable economic growth by ensuring our communities have the best opportunities to achieve their full potential. They do this by supporting the delivery of Economic Development priorities, understanding the future infrastructure requirements necessary to support future residential and employment growth, and securing planning obligation income for county council services.
You will provide administrative and technical support to ensure that the County Council secures planning obligation income for all services in line with the guidance outlined within Gloucestershire County Council’s adopted Local Development Guide.
This role provides a great opportunity for a dynamic individual with a ‘can do’ attitude to be part of a small by growing service area. It is a varied and interesting place to work, with the opportunity to support on a number of diverse projects across the Council’s services. We’re looking for someone who is highly motivated and enthusiastic and wants to learn more about the planning process.
You will work towards the completion of the Business Administrator level 3 apprenticeship Standard whilst in the role, giving you valuable experience and opportunities during your apprenticeship with us.
